I was in a typography class at SJSU back in the early 80's and we had to hand letter the entire alphabet, but using full sentences. I quickly discovered that if I could make a shorter sentence, I would have to work less. And being the lazy sod I am, (No, being the efficient and organized man I am), I came up with these sentences so I had to do less work. Notice they got shorter and shorter as I went along.
This was way easier than using the most famous pangram: The quick brown fox jumps over a lazy dog
...and way less boring, too.
I have since found out that there are people that do this for fun and someone else had also discovered the Jackdaws
pangram. Imagine that! Oh, yeah, it turns out that a pangram is what a sentence using every letter in the alphabet is called. Oh well, at least I still had a shorter one.
One day, I'll scan all my pangram/typography projects, but for now... this is what you get.
